Another public outing sans gal pal Rachel McAdams?

Canadian thespian Ryan Gosling showed up for a special screening of ‘Fracture’ in New York City last night noticibly alone.

While sources close to the couple maintain that they’re only on a “break”, we’ve yet to see the one-time happy couple together in weeks.

she may be filming somewhere, which would explain not being seen together.

On another note, Rachel has been signed to play Clare in the ‘Time Traveller’s Wife’…I REALLY wish they wouldn’t make a movie out of this book. I LOVED it, and there is no way a movie can do the story justice.

That is one movie I won’t be seeing.

Aw, they were so cute. Anyway, I agree with psl. The movie will be like that Sandra Bullock/Keanu movie. Too many holes for those kinds of time travel movies to be well done.

You guys are missing one key factor..not all people are looking to read every book.. movies about books appeal to those people… yeah, the story may not be the same, but that’s the consequences they face for not reading.. everyone has a right to know the story though, right?

Me, personally — there are movies based on books which Ihave actually gone and read the book because the story intrigued me..

PS: This is my absolutely favorite couple and I believe they were in a little movie called the NOTEBOOK, which was definitely different than the book… Still love them though

psl i am an avid book lover and hardly ever see the movie version (its so hard!)- and never before reading the book. there are so few good book adaptions out there. i’d say the best i’ve seen are fight club, mystic river and brokeback mountain.
