The Orange County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that an alleged stalker of Sandra Bullock tried to run over her hubby husband Jesse James.

The alleged incident happened at the couple’s home Sunday night.

The suspect reportedly laid in the driveway and wouldn’t move. When Jesse approached the crazed woman she tried to run him over with her Mercedes. Sandra and Jesse’s 10-year-old daughter were looking on at the time.

Luckily, Jesse was never struck by the car and was not injured. The whacko was later arrested.

Duh, that’s why it says Jesse’s 10 year old daughter!!

The wording makes it sound like it is both of there daughters. DUH!

if it sounded like both of their daughters then it would say “Sandra and Jesse’s 10-year-old daughter WAS looking on at the time”

How awful for Sandra!! I also feel sorry for the fan as well, I mean she must have serious problems to be that obsessed with a celebrity that she’s never even met. I hope she gets help!

^ well said stephi- if they don’t get help they can end up so much worse (ie jodie fosters stalker)

the fact that sandra is married to jessie makes the girl her (step)daughter. arasto got it right.

I love Sandra and I’m so happy that she now seems to have a wonderful family … Jesse …. and a daughter. Anyone who “knows” Sandra knows she has no bio children but I do hope they have a biological child together. I think Sandra would make a great Mom.

I don’t think you can ‘help’ stalkers. I’ve never heard of one being cured — they either end up in prison, dead, or start stalking someone else.

hmm i respectfully disagree randi. celebrity stalkers are generally in the class of ‘intimacy seekers’ they often have treatable psychological disorders. if their delusions are addressed management strategies are often sucessful in stopping the stalking behaviour.

^^^You are right SAS — My comment was a little too broad. But there are definitely categories of stalkers (I’m thinking erotomaniac) who are extremely difficult to treat. Sometimes I think society focuses too much on treatment when we in certain cases we should be focusing on containment.
